After a trip to Paris in 2019, Quiana Sherrills became fixated with all things Persian, and wanted to create an experience that married her love of the city with exquisite desserts.
Le' Scoop Dessert Boutique is dedicated to tantalizing taste buds with an array of exquisite frozen treat flavors and decadent desserts for both the upscale and adventurous palette. My name is Quiana Sherrills and I’m the owner and CEO of Le Scoop Dessert Boutique. Prior to LSDB I worked in finance, from consumer to commercial, for a little over twenty years. Most recently I've had the pleasure of focusing my efforts on a niche area of lending, more specifically, helping small business owners start or scale their business. This work sparked a flame in me to chase my dreams and set out on a quest to do just that as an entrepreneur. While working towards my degree in social work at Youngstown State University, I enrolled in an online workshop that taught me some of the fundamentals of the ice cream industry and within a six month span, I was off making ice cream.
The goal at the start of the journey was to have a parlor, but an immediate demand temporarily altered that goal. After having our ice cream featured at a local restaurant I was asked about catering packages and that request expanded my focus and birthed our mobile cart, Bella Scoop.
